Lakeland Company Opens Larger Production Facility

Compass Blending, LLC is pleased to announce a grand opening celebrating its new Lakeland location. The 10,000 square foot facility is located at 3850 Anchuca Dr., in Lakeland, Fla. Compass Blending LLC, a custom dry food blending and manufacturing company, finished 2018 at $1.3 million.

The facility’s increased space allows Compass Blending to triple its production capacity. The new sanitation area simplified the ability to easily wash equipment and sanitize everything. The company also went through the arduous certification process to be a Kosher production space. The new facility is at dock height which helps to speed up the delivery/shipment process. With all of the changes from the previous facility, Compass Blending is now able to do twice as much capacity as the competition of similar size.

“We are really proud of our new home, but a facility is only as good as the team that works there. This environment will further allow our team to thrive,” said CEO Angie Ruff. “When you combine a rock star team with a top-notch facility, only good things can happen,” she added.

Compass Blending would like to invite the community to a ribbon-cutting ceremony, hosted with the Lakeland Chamber, for the new facility. The ribbon-cutting will be held on Manufacturing Day, October 4 at 2 p.m.
