February is Love the Bus Month. Polk County Public Schools District will honor school bus drivers throughout Feb. Driver Judy Schultheis is recognized for her contributions to keep kids safe and the bus sanitized. Schultheis became a bus driver after she retired from Publix, according to Polk County Public Schools.

She told PCPS that she loves being around children and believes in them. Her heart stays young being there for the kids. She feels pride in building relationships with her students, PCPS reported. Her concern for the children's' safety causes her to sanitize the bus to protect them from COVID-19.
