LAKELAND, FL — An overturned truck in Lakeland delivered a rocky rush hour to commuters for a time Thursday as road crews had to deal with a heavy mess.

"Good news: No serious injuries; Bad news: A rock truck has overturned on Clubhouse Road at U.S. 98," the Polk County Sheriff's Office reported late Thursday afternoon.

The sheriff's office released photos of the rocky mess before announcing later that all lanes had reopened to traffic.

The sheriff's office said several vehicles were damaged during the incident and had to be towed from the road.
