Polk schools plan to reopen classes and extracurricular activities after closing on Thursday for Tropical Storm Eta precautions.

POLK COUNTY, FL— All schools and offices of Polk County Public Schools will reopen Friday, Nov. 13, and resume their normal schedules.

In addition, all after—school activities will also resume on Friday, according to Polk County Public Schools.

County public schools were closed on Thursday as a safety precaution due to Tropical Storm Eta.
