Tornado Warning For Parts Of Polk County

BREAKING: A tornado watch is also in effect until noon.

POLK COUNTY, FL — A tornado warning has been issued for Northwestern Polk County, the county's office of emergency management said.

"At 11:07 a.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 11 miles north of Combee Settlement, or 13 miles north of Lakeland, moving west at 35 mph," the office said in an advisory.
