POLK COUNTY, FL — Registered voters in Polk County are being reminded by the elections office to update voter information prior to municipal elections scheduled April 6.

If you live in Bartow, Dundee, Haines City, Lake Alfred, Lake Wales or Lakeland and have had your name changed, moved to a new address or your signature has changed, update your information with the elections office by calling its staff at 863-534-5888. Online changes can be made at PolkElections.com.

“An address change may mean a voter has moved into or out of the city limits, an important detail in a city election,” Supervisor of Elections Lori Edwards said. “If a voter updates their record before the election, we can eliminate inconvenience on Election Day.”
