Veterans Day 2019: What's Open And Closed In Polk County

LAKELAND, FL — Monday is Veterans Day and you'll find many banks and government offices will be closed in observance of the holiday.

Here are some of the holiday closings we found around Polk County:

• There is no U.S. Postal Service mail delivery on Monday, Nov. 11.
• The offices of the Board of County Commissioners will be closed in observance of Veteran's Day.
• All Polk County traditional public schools will be closed on Veterans Day. Schools will reopen Tuesday, Nov. 12.
