Vote By Mail Ballots Available For April 6 Municipal Elections

POLK COUNTY, FL — Mail-in-ballots are available as of Thursday to registered city voters in Lakeland, Bartow, Haines City, Dundee, Lake Alfred Lake Wales for the municipal elections scheduled for April 6.

“No stamp is necessary to return the ballot as the return postage is pre-paid,” Supervisor of Elections Lori Edwards said.

Completed ballots must be returned to the supervisor of elections office April 6 at 7 p.m. Ballots can be mailed or dropped off at Election Headquarters, 250 South Broadway Avenue in Bartow, or dropped at the Election Operations Center, 70 Florida Citrus Boulevard, Winter Haven.

Additionally, ballots may also be dropped at one of the below city hall locations during normal hours of operation through April 5:

  • Dundee – Town Hall Lobby, 202 E Main St
  • Haines City – City Hall Lobby, 620 E Main St
  • Lake Alfred – Utilities Billing Building Lobby, 155 E Pomelo St
  • Lakeland – City Hall Lobby, 228 S Massachusetts Ave

Voters can request a mail ballot by visiting the Supervisor of Elections website at www.polkelections.com or calling the elections office at (863) 534-5888. The deadline to request a mail-in-ballot is March 27.
