The Saturday November 1, 2017 wrestling tournament was a terrific success. The tournament went off without a hitch with matches beginning on time with strong support from all the wrestlers from the schools along with coaches and fans.

The Winter Haven High School wrestling team defeated Citrus, Lake Wales, Kathleen, McKeel, and Zephyrhills Christian academy in the Mulberry Duals for 1st Place. Jacob Morgan went undefeated with 4 pins, Manny Rosario and Devonte both went undefeated with 3 pins, Ethan Endres went undefeated with one pin and got most valuable wrestler, Brennan Byrd went undefeated with 1 pin.

The Winter Haven wrestling team thanks the support of parents, families and friends in getting the season off to a solid start.
