A 47-year-old man scratched it big with a $5,000,000 Luck Scratch-Off Game he bought from a store in Polk County.

WINTER HAVEN, FL — A 47-year-old Winter Haven man is starting the weekend off as a $1 million winner from the Florida Lottery's Luck Scratch-Off game.
The Florida Lottery announced on Friday that Kundankumar Patel claimed a $1 million prize from the $5,000,000 Luck Scratch-Off game by using a secured drop box located at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
Patel chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $760,000.00.

Patel purchased his winning ticket from Del's Go Shop located at 90 Coleman Road in Winter Haven.
The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket.

The $20 game, $5,000,000 Luck, launched in September 2019 and features more than $329 million in cash prizes, including six top prizes of $5 million. The game's overall odds of winning are one-in-2.97.
