13-Year-Old Boy Killed In ATV Crash In Conner Preserve
A Land O' Lakes family is in mourning after a 13-year-old boy was killed Wednesday while riding an ATV on a trail in the Conner Preserve.

LAND O' LAKES, FL — A Land O' Lakes family is in mourning after a 13-year-old boy was killed Wednesday while riding an ATV on a trail in the Conner Preserve.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 1:46 on Wednesday, an 11-year-old boy from Knoxville, Tennessee, was riding a John Deere ATV west on a trail in the Conner Preserve near 22501 State Road 52. The 13-year-old was riding a Polaris Ranger Crew ATV north on a trail in the same area.
Both ATVs arrived at a trail crossing at the same time and collided. The 13-year-old was ejected from the ATV and died at the scene.
