2 Drivers Serious After Trucks Crash At Intersection

LAND O' LAKES, FL — Two drivers sustained serious injuries following a crash on Oak Grove Boulevard near State Road 54 Tuesday.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 5:41 a.m. a single-unit truck drive by a 38-year-old Holiday man was heading north on Oak Grove Boulevard in the left turn lane approaching SR 54.

A pickup truck driven by a 39-year-old New Port Richey man was heading east on SR 54 approaching Oak Grove Boulevard.

Under a red signal, the single-unit truck entered the intersection and crashed into the pickup truck.

Both trucks overturned.
