65-Year-Old Wesley Chapel Man Dies In Single-Car Crash On SR 52

A 65-year-old Wesley Chapel man has died after he crashed at the turn from northbound Old Pasco Road onto State Road 52.

PASCO COUNTY, FL — A 65-year-old Wesley Chapel man has died after he crashed his car at the turn from northbound Old Pasco Road onto State Road 52.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 5 p.m. Friday, the Wesley Chapel man was driving north on Old Pasco Road when he lost control while turning left on SR 52.

The car collided with a pedestrian handrail, dropped off the sidewalk and came to rest in a ditch.

The driver was taken to the hospital where he died.
