"Brewing Up Business" at Saint Leo University
Learn what makes Tampa a craft brewing hub

ST. LEO, FL – Anyone interested in the craft beer brewing phenomenon will want to attend an upcoming special presentation at Saint Leo University, “Brewing Up Business: The Wonders of Small Business with Florida Breweries,” on Thursday, Feb. 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the Greenfelder-Denlinger Boardrooms of the Student Community Center. The campus is at 33701 State Road 52, 33574.
The School of Arts and Sciences is hosting the event, which will begin with a presentation by Mark DeNote ’04, editor of Florida Beer News and author of The Great Florida Craft Beer Guide (published by the University Press of Florida). A panel discussion will follow with representatives from Florida’s most well-known craft breweries, including Angry Chair, Barley Mow, Saint Somewhere, 7venth Sun, Coppertail Brewing Company, and Cigar City. A Q&A session will immediately follow.
There will be beer samples, while supplies last, and light snacks provided at 7:30 p.m. Members of the public ages 21 and older are invited to attend. Parking is free on campus lots or in the campus garage.
