Butter Bowl 2014: Gators or Seahawks?

What hometown team are you rooting for?

The annual hometown battle between the Sunlake Seahawks and the Land O’ Lakes Gators is set to take place Friday.

And, while the game is still days away, the anticipation is already building. Players and fans on both sides are gearing up to see just who will take home the Butter Bowl trophy this year.

The Seahawks took the title last year, beating the Gators 28-21. That game, however, was played at Sunlake. This year’s match is set for Land O’ Lakes High School at 7:30 p.m. Friday, giving the boys in navy and gold a home field advantage.
