CMCS School Reopening Plan & Student Intent to Return:
On 7/8/20, CMCS announced that we will be able to offer two educational options for the fall: Traditional and CMCS Online. If your child will remain at CMCS for the fall, please fill out our Student Intent to Return 2020-2021 form. Select the option that best meets your student’s needs. If you have more than one student at CMCS, you must fill out a different survey for each child. The deadline for making your selection is today, Monday, July 13th at 9:00 pm. Remember that you are making a decision for the entire first semester.

ParentSquare:
CMCS is happy to announce that we are streamlining our communication this coming school year! We have signed on with ParentSquare. This program will allow us to share communication via our Monday Messages and other posts, send quick reminders and alerts, accept payments, collect forms, and much more -- all within one program.
ParentSquare will replace Remind, Script, MailChimp, Formsite, and other communication tools. It is imperative that you register your account, so that you can receive important information as well as communicate with us.
Returning parents: You will be receiving an email tonight to set up your account and download the app. Please be sure to do so as we will be launching our Registration Forms through a post on this app this week.
Incoming parents: You will be receiving an email in the coming weeks as we work to enroll your students in our system.
Clean Up Days with Mr. Eddie:
This summer Mr. Eddie will be holding his annual summer clean up days. The days will be Saturday, July 18, 2020 and Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. If you would like to sign up to help on one or both of these days, please email Ms. Devon (devon@cmcsmontessori.com).
Due to the nature of the work, these days are for adults only (no students please).
Summer Hours:
The Front Office still remains closed at this time. For any immediate needs, please email info@cmcsmontessori.com. We will keep you informed about our adjusted office hours as they become available.
Volunteering for Next Year:
If you plan to volunteer for the 2020-2021 school year, you must complete a new online volunteer application on or after July 1, 2020.
Please go to https://www.pasco.k12.fl.us/comm/volunteer/ to complete the application. Please remember that each family is responsible for completing 15 volunteer hours per school year.
We will have to be flexible with how volunteer hours are completed this year, as we are restricting volunteers on campus. Our Wall Plaque fundraiser is a great way to take care of your volunteer hours. More information to come.
Middle School PE Uniforms:
IMPORTANT CHANGE: Due to the current situation with COVID-19, Middle School students will NOT be wearing PE uniforms for the first semester. We will revisit this for the second semester.
Again, Middle School students will stay in their CMCS uniform polos and uniform bottoms for the entire day. They will not be wearing PE uniforms or changing during the first semester (August - December). Please email Ms. Melissa (melissa.marotta@cmcsmontessori.com) with any questions.
Cougar Cards 2020-2021:
It's that time of year again . . time to get our Cougar Cards rolling for the upcoming school year. If you are interested in soliciting participating business for the card, let us know. This is a great way to get in your volunteer hours prior to the school year starting. We have a new electronic form this year to help streamline the process too!
If you are interested in helping, please email giving@cmcsmontessori.com.
School Health Reminders:
We'd like to provide you with a few reminders as summer is starting to wind down and we prepare to start the new school year. If your child needs medication stored in the clinic, please be sure to visit Parent Links/Health Info for any forms that may need prior to school starting to accept medication in the clinic. Please provide all completed forms to Ms. Devon.
In addition to medication, all incoming 7th grades need to have their TDap immunization completed prior to the first day of school. Click here for information on where you can for go for immunizations and school physicals this year courtesy of the Pasco County School District.
