Early Voting Opens For Special Primary Election

The opening date is Sept. 7.

From the Pasco County Supervisor of Elections:

Early voting for the September 17, 2013 Special Primary Election begins Saturday, September 7, through Saturday, September 14, at the West Pasco Government Center.  Hours for Saturdays and Sunday are 9:00 - 5:00 and Monday through Friday 10:00 to 6:00.  The West Pasco Government Center is located at 8731 Citizens Drive, Suite 110, New Port Richey FL  34654.

Voters must present a photo and signature ID when early voting, or vote a provisional ballot. Voters who are registered in another Florida county, but are now residing in Pasco, are encouraged to update their address with the elections' office prior to voting, or they will be statutorily required to vote a provisional ballot at the polls or during early voting.

Per Florida law, the Special Primary Election is for registered Republicans residing within House District 36 only.  There are no democratic or non-partisan candidates on the ballot.  Additional information regarding the upcoming special elections is available on pascovotes.com.
