Farewell, Readers!

It was not that long ago I took the helm as local editor of this Patch site. I can honestly say it has been a pleasure getting to know your community.

Yet it’s time to say goodbye.

At close of business today (Oct. 15), my position will be eliminated as part of a re-organization effort. The site will remain open but there is no local reporter actively covering the community for the foreseeable future.

Thanks to each one of you who submitted a news tip, story suggestion or otherwise constructively contributed to this “community water cooler.”
