Florida Hospital Center Ice Sets Public Skate Schedule
Florida Hospital Center Ice opens the doors for public skating next week.

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — Tampa Bay area residents itching for the opening of Florida Hospital Center Ice don’t have much longer to wait. The new ice sports complex in Central Pasco County has announced the date of its first public skate.
According to Center Ice officials, skaters will get the chance to check out the Wesley Chapel facility’s Olympic-size rink for the very first public skate at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26. After the first public skate, the schedule will be as follows:
- Mondays – 5 to 7 p.m.
- Wednesdays – 8 to 10 p.m., adults only
- Thursdays – 7 to 9 p.m.
- Fridays – 8 to 10 p.m.
- Saturdays – noon to 2 p.m.; 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.; 8 to 10 p.m.
- Sundays – 1 to 3 p.m.; 6 to 8 p.m.
Public skating session days and times are subject to change. The cost to skate is $9.75 for adults, not including tax. Seniors, veterans and active duty military with valid ID pay $7.75 plus tax. Rental skates are $4.25 a pair plus tax. Family four-packs will be available for $40, which includes skate rental. Additional family members cost $10.
