Food Trucks, Musicians, Classic Cars Set to Rally

Area residents are invited to rally for a cause on May 1.

The Seahawk Rhythm and Rods Rally is set to run from 5 to 8 p.m. at Sunlake High School, 3023 Sunlake Blvd. The benefit, which features a food truck rally, student musicians and a classic and “fancy” car show is being staged as a fundraiser. The school’s class of 2016, its Junior State of America debate team and a local food bank will all benefit from proceeds.

According to the school, residents can display their classic and fancy cars during the event. Admission costs $5 with a $1 discount for anyone who brings a can of nonperishable food to donate.
