Grocery Leader ALDI Opens New Odessa Store

ODESSA, FL — ALDI will offer Odessa residents a smarter, faster and easier grocery shopping experience as it opens its newest store at 12134 State Road 54 on Thursday. The new location is part of the company’s aggressive national expansion plan to become the third-largest U.S. grocery retailer by store count by the end of 2022.

Now even more Odessa residents can join the millions of shoppers who come to ALDI for premium food at great prices. To celebrate the store opening, ALDI will hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday morning followed by its popular Golden Ticket giveaway with gift cards to the first 100 customers. Shoppers can also enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a year’s supply of ALDI produce on Friday, March 13.

“The ALDI approach to grocery retailing is different by design. Our stores, including our brand new Odessa store, are purposefully designed to create cost savings and efficiencies on every shopping trip,” said Matt Thon, Haines City division vice president for ALDI. “We know shopping for groceries is essential, which is why we work hard to make it easy and enjoyable.”

ALDI stores provide a consistent, streamlined and efficient shopping experience. Every store is easy to navigate while still offering ample refrigeration to accommodate the recently expanded fresh, healthy and convenient food selection. The intentional store design features five aisles filled with the most popular products in the most commonly purchased sizes.

ALDI stores also have open ceilings and natural lighting and are built with environmentally friendly building materials. The Odessa store will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

To make grocery shopping even easier, ALDI offers online grocery delivery service through Instacart at nearly all ALDI stores and to customers in more than 10,000 ZIP codes. .
