A Hudson man has been arrested for contracting without a license after accepting a $5,400 down payment to install a pool enclosure.

LAND O' LAKES, FL — A 43-year-old Hudson man has been arrested for contracting without a license after he took a $5,400 down payment to install a pool enclosure.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Steven Bourget, owner of Steve Bourget's Rescreening, contracted with some Land O' Lakes homeowners to build an aluminum pool enclosure for $10,800. He accepted a down payment for the work but never began construction.
When the homeowners looked into Bourget, they discovered he didn't have a contractor's license to do the work and was on probation for a similar offense. They contacted the sheriff's office.
