Hungry Harry's Lauded For Community Generosity
The popular barbecue joint was honored twice.
Feeding America Tampa Bay: Suncoast Branch recently honored Chad Hudson and Harry Wright of Hungry Harry’s Famous Bar-B-Que with a trophy for their generosity for being the largest community supporter/food sponsor of the first Grill and Brew Fest fundraising event at the Federal Order of Police Lodge #29.
In addition, People’s Choice Awards based on volume of sales were given ribbons : 1st-Place went to John Kennedy of Maw N Paws Kettle Corn; 2nd-Place to Michael Musoke of Off the Griddle; and 2rd-Place to Larry Engle of Chicken on a Stick.
Proceeds from this event were used to help feed those in need of food in our local community. Volunteers and donations are always welcome at the facility on Ehren Cutoff call, 813-929-0200.
Hungry Harry’s Famous Bar-B-Que also came back as generous supporters for a 22nd year to reward volunteers of the local Land O’ Lakes Coastal Cleanup with their tasty pork BBQ sandwiches.
Taylor Rental, McDonalds have also supported this cause since it began in Central Pasco back in 1991 (22 years) and SunTrust has been participating almost as long.
Pasco Iron and Metal (PIM) and Irena Heating & Cooling joined the cause this year. This in an international event, usually held on the 3rd Saturday of September, annually – so, please mark your calendars for next year!
