Volunteers and monetary donations are still needed to assist with the fun.

"Basically we need monetary donations to offset the cost involved with the purchase of the candy-filled Easter eggs, crafts, face tattoos and refresments," Heritage Park Foundation president Sandy Graves said. "We do need volunteers for the egg scramble, crafts and handing out refreshments."

The Jellybean Jamboree is sponsored by Pasco Parks and Recreation, Heritage Park Foundation, Candlewood Community Church, the Land O' Lakes Rotary, and the Lutz-Land O'Lakes Women's Club.

"Annual events like the Jellybean are the reasons this park was built by the community in the 60s," Graves said. "Coming soon will be the improvement of the park and hopefully funding for the amphitheater for outdoor concerts and our historical walkway. We've been working a long time for that vision and it is a good feeling to know it is right around the corner."
