Land O' Lakes High Coach's Funeral Announced
Services for Kris Keppel will take place Friday and Saturday.
Land O’ Lakes will say goodbye to longtime high school cross country Coach Kris Keppel this weekend.
Keppel, 54, died Sunday following a nearly two-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
A wake for Keppel, is planned Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Loyless Funeral Home, 5310 Land O’ Lakes Blvd. A funeral mass will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 2348 Collier Parkway, according to the Pasco County School District.

Crisis counselors reported to Land O’ Lakes High Monday morning to help students and faculty with the grieving process.
