LongHorn Steakhouse Announces Lutz Opening Date

The LongHorn Steakhouse set to open near the Tampa Premium Outlets is hiring.

LUTZ, FL — Steak lovers in the Central Pasco area will soon have a new choice. LongHorn Steakhouse has announced an opening date. The new eatery is also actively hiring.

Located at 2647 Creek Grass Way in Lutz, the restaurant is scheduled to open its doors to the public at 4 p.m. Nov. 14. The establishment sits in front of the Tampa Premium Outlets in a row of restaurants that now includes Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, Culver’s, Chick-fil-A and BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse.

Led by managing partner B.A. Arnot, a veteran of LongHorn for more than 20 years, the eatery features seating for more than 200 people in a 5,734-square-foot space. The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday following its grand opening.

The new LongHorn location is also hiring for a variety of positions. Openings include line cooks, servers, bartenders and more. Online applications are being accepted on the company’s website.

“LongHorn Steakhouse prides itself on fresh, never frozen, expertly grilled and boldly seasoned steaks – like its famous bone-in Outlaw Ribeye – that are prepared by a Certified LongHorn Grill Master," the restaurant said in a media release. "The restaurant’s design celebrates the natural beauty of the American West, with interiors featuring contemporary artwork and sculptures of horses, western landscapes and sunsets complemented by warm tones, wood and stone.”

In addition to its standard menu and seasonal selections, the restaurant will also offer weekday “Prime Time” specials in the late afternoon hours. Between 4 and 7 p.m., patrons will find a special menu that offers $3, $4 and $5 drinks and appetizers.
