McDonald's Offers Free Breakfasts For Dads

Tampa Bay, FL — Tampa Bay area kids who want to treat their dads to breakfast on Father’s Day only need to head to a local McDonald’s for a meal on the house.

McDonald’s restaurants throughout the Tampa Bay area have announced that all dads who come through their doors during breakfast hours on Sunday, June 19 will get the royal treatment.

Local stores are “showing their appreciation to dads by offering a free breakfast sandwich or entrée along with their choice of a small orange juice, coffee or soft drink,” the fast-food giant announced in a media release.

A total of 203 Bay area stores are taking part in the promotion, which runs from 5:30 to 11 a.m. Sunday.

There is no purchase necessary to cash in on the offer, but dads must have at least one child in tow, the chain said. Free meals are only available inside the restaurants by placing an order at the front counter. There is a limit of one free offer per customer, per visit, too.

A similar promotion was run last year. During that event, almost 9,000 Tampa Bay area dads were treated to breakfast, the company reported.
