Mom Attacks Teachers During 'Alleged Kidnapping' Attempt: Police
Angela Robens tried to pick up her 6-year-old daughter without the proper paperwork, police said.

DADE CITY, FL — Angela Robens, 35, was arrested Friday from San Antonio Elementary School in Dade City after pushing, scratching and punching multiple people, Pasco County Sheriff's Office said.
Officers responded to a reported kidnapping at the school when Robens attempted to pick up her daughter without the proper paperwork, according to the police report. Police say she was told to go to the school's office since she didn't have the appropriate card, but instead she tried to to grab her daughter as the student left the building.
According to the report, school staff then confronted Robens. She reportedly tried to rush through the teachers, scratching at one of them and punching another parent in the head who tried to intervene.

Emergency professionals examined the victims, but none of them were taken to the hospital, according to police.
Robens was taken into custody on two counts of battery on a school official and one count of battery. She was taken to Land O' Lakes jail.

Robens's husband picked up the 6-year-old daughter and other children she had with her at the time of the incident, police said.
