Pasco County Schools Extends Free Voluntary Prekindergarten Program 3 Hours
For those who pay a fee, the program is extended for another three hours a day.
PASCO COUNTY, FL — Pasco County Schools are registering students for the free VPK program that takes place for three hours each weekday from Aug. 8 to May 25, 2022.
Children must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1.
The program can be extended for the last three hours of the school day for $75 a week and a $75 registration fee, which will be applied to the last week’s tuition. If your child qualifies for free and reduced lunch, then the tuition fee would be adjusted to $65 a week and a $65 registration fee.

To enroll, you must first obtain your Certificate of Eligibility (voucher) or confirmation number from the Pasco Hernando Early Learning Coalition website, or contact by phone at 727-233-8291.
- Once you have obtained your voucher, complete the Pasco VPK Portal.
- You will be asked to submit school preferences.
- You will receive notification of an assignment for VPK based on seat availability.
- Confirm your seat by completing registration at the school you are assigned to for VPK.

- Proof of Residency (two forms of documentation required)
