LAND O' LAKES, FL — An inmate at the Land O' Lakes Detention Center is facing new charges after the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said he attempted to escape from the jail by climbing a support beam in the recreation yard.
According to the sheriff's office, Luis Enrique Tull, 37, of Lake Chase Boulevard in Zephyrhills was outside in the recreation area when he climbed up a steel support beam about 25 feet from the ground and then climbed across the steel fence enclosure above the recreation area, pulled on parts of the fence where they overlapped from a previous repair and made an opening large enough to climb through and escape.
The escape was caught on surveillance video and Tull was apprehended.
