Pasco Officials Don Aprons, Chefs Hats To Raise Scholarship Funds
The Republican Party of Pasco recently held its inaugural Five for Five Dinner to benefit its $5,000 scholarship fund.

LAND O' LAKES, FL -- The Republican Party of Pasco recently held its inaugural Five for Five Dinner to benefit its $5,000 scholarship fund.
The five-course meal was hosted by Chef Ben Pumo of Benedetto's Restaurant in Land O' Lakes and featured Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco as the master of ceremonies.
Celebrity sous chefs were state Reps. Amber Mariano and Ardian Zika and Pasco County Commissioners Mike Moore, Mike Wells and Jack Mariano.

Sponsors for the event were U.S. Rep. Gus Bilirakis, Florida Sen. Wilton Simpson, former Florida Speaker of the House Will Weatherford, state Reps. Mariano, Zika and Danny Burgess, Commissioner Kathryn Starkey, Shawn Foster and Kurth Sombutmai, owner of 2 Minutes Restaurant.
The scholarship fund will provide five $1,000 scholarships to Pasco high school graduates who are winners of the Republican Party of Pasco's Scholarship application process. Scholarship recipients must attend an accredited community college/university or accredited vocational school in Florida. The deadline for the application is April 15.
