Public Hearing Set On U.S. 41 Median Improvements
The Florida Department of Transportation will host a virtual public hearing March 9 at 10 a.m. to discuss media improvements for U.S. 41.
LAND O' LAKES, FL — The Florida Department of Transportation will host a virtual public hearing March 9 at 10 a.m. to discuss media improvements for U.S. 41 (Land O' Lakes Boulevard) at Carson Drive.
This project will provide safety and operational improvements by modifying the existing median opening at U.S. 41 and Carson Drive, and extending the southbound dual left-turn lanes on U.S. 41 to eastbound State Road 54.

- installation of a median separator
- extension of dual left-turn lanes on U.S. 41
- installation/removal of necessary signage and pavement markings
The design is underway.
The public hearing will be held in three formats: virtually over the internet, by phone at 1-312-757-3121 and provide access code 445-355-357 to join, or at an in-person drive-thru at Land O' Lakes Heritage Park, 5401 Land O' Lakes Blvd.
