Publix, Winn-Dixie Memorial Day 2016 Hours

TAMPA BAY, FL — Tampa Bay area residents who never seem to remember everything on their Memorial Day barbecue shopping lists don’t have to sweat it too much.

Two of the region’s most popular grocery stores have announced they’ll be open regular hours on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30.

“Winn-Dixie stores will be open regular hours on Memorial Day,” spokeswoman Meredith Holland told Patch. “We appreciate our associates’ commitment to deliver the convenience our customers want and the prices they need for last-minute shopping needs.”

Publix’s Brian West has also assured fans of the Lakeland-based grocery chain they’ll be able to swing by and pick up last-minute burgers, hotdogs, drinks and more.

“All our stores will be open normal business hours on Memorial Day,” West said.

Publix and Winn-Dixie both have numerous locations throughout the Tampa Bay area. Since stores may have hours that vary, shoppers should check with individual locations on hours.
