Saint Leo Abbey Church Hosts University Singing Group March 8
Hear what Italian audiences will soon enjoy in Canta Italia! at the beautiful Abbey Church

Canta Italia!, a one-hour program of music highlighting the many forms of love, will be presented Wednesday, March 8, at 7 p.m., at the Saint Leo Abbey Church at 33701 State Road 52, St Leo, 33574.
The public is invited and admission is free, but donations will be accepted to support the growing Saint Leo University Music Program.
The Saint Leo Singers International are the featured performers for this special event. This new choral group includes Saint Leo University undergraduate singers and others from the campus community. They will travel together to Italy over Spring Break to sing for audiences in Rome, Florence, and Milan. (Canta means "sing" in Italian.)

The March 8 event permits the chorus to perform the same program for the Saint Leo community before its departure. The selections include pieces that honor God's love, as well as compositions that celebrate love for family, for humanity, and for romantic partners. Dr. Cynthia Selph directs the choral group.
The March 8 program will also incorporate the talents of other selected musicians from the campus community.
