Saint Leo Named To Best Places To Work List
The Pasco County university received the honor for the fifth straight year.

SAINT LEO, FL – For the fifth consecutive year, Saint Leo University was named to the Bay area’s Top Workplaces 2016 list, published by the Tampa Bay Times. The university ranks 15th in the Large Employers category, or businesses with more than 500 employees.
Employees of Saint Leo University nominated the school and were surveyed about several topics, including policies and practices that make their employer a top place to work. The companies were ranked based on compensation, training, leadership, diversity, and workplace flexibility.
“This honor is a direct reflection of the university’s commitment to its six core values of respect, excellence, responsible stewardship, community, personal development and integrity,” said Sheri R. Neshiem, associate vice president of human resources at Saint Leo. “We are proud of the continuing efforts of our employees and their hard work and commitment to our student-centered environment at Saint Leo University.

In the Tampa Bay region, nearly 180 companies were nominated by their employees. To be considered for the list, companies or government entities must employ at least 50 workers in Florida and be at least 1 year old.
