Scream-A-Geddon Coming to Pasco
The Halloween-themed park features six attractions.

Tampa Bay area residents searching for a fight in time for Halloween may want to make the drive to Pasco County.
Be warned, however, organizers of Scream-A-Geddon say visitors enter at their own risk. Featuring five haunted houses and a “Monster Midway” with food, games and beer, the seasonal theme park makes its debut Sept. 25. The attraction will then open on select days throughout October with a finale set for Nov. 1.
“At SCREAM-A-GEDDON, victims can expect the most terrifying horror park experience around,” Jon Pianki, the park’s director of marketing, told Patch. “We have six haunted attractions, each independently designed with its own theme, monsters and scares. There will be a haunted hayride, clowns, zombies, dark wooded trails, and an interactive haunted experience unlike anything else in Florida.”

While open to all ages, Pianki says it’s best to leave kids under 13 at home.
To make sure visitors each night get their money’s worth in the scare department, Pianki says attendance will be capped. That means it’s best to buy tickets in advance because the plan is to stop entry once that cap has been met.

Ticket prices vary by night with opening weekend, for example, costing $35.95, but prices rise to as much as $54.95 on Oct. 24. VIP Fast Pass admission tickets that allow guests to move to the front of lines are also available for an extra fee.
The haunted attractions include the “Cursed Hayride,” “Dead House,” ”Dead Woods,” “Bedlam 3D,” “Pandemic” and “Infected.”
For more information or to purchase tickets, visit Scream-A-Geddon’s website.
The attraction is located at 27839 Saint Joe Road in Dade City, near newly opened TreeHoppers. Both parks are owned by the same umbrellas company, Pianki said.
