Spinnations, 20th Hole Cited By Health Inspectors
Dirty sink, open dumpster lid and mold in ice machine are a few of the violations found at Pasco County restaurants.
PASCO COUNTY, FL – Dirty sink, open dumpster lid and mold in ice machine are some of the violations that Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation inspectors found recently at Tampa-area restaurants.
Gunn Highway Flea Market, 2317 Gunn Hwy., Odessa, was cited for 12 violations on June 1, including an employee using a handwash sink to dump dirty mop water; encrusted material on can opener blade; and reach-in cooler gasket torn/in disrepair.
20th Hole Bar & Grill, 8342 New York Ave., Hudson, was cited for nine violations on May 30, including water from ice machine dripping outside, leaving standing water behind building; raw chicken stored over potatoes, taco meat in refrigerator; fan cover in walk-in cooler had accumulation of dust or debris.

Spinnations, 8345 Congress St., Port Richey, was cited for 13 violations on May 29, including no paper towels or mechanical hand-drying device provided at handwash sink; open dumpster lid; accumulation of black/green mold-like substance in the interior of the ice machine.
In the last 30 days, 68 Pasco County restaurants did not pass the first inspection while 60 restaurants aced the first visit.

The inspectors made note of seven Pasco County restaurants that passed inspections without any violations in the last 30 days: Joe's Hot Dogs, 6936 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey; Milton Hetrick Beverages, 6238 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey; White Heron Tea & Gifts, 6228 Grand Blvd, New Port Richey; Doble Gustazo, 4905 Ivy Glen Pl, Land O' Lakes; Kens Dawg Haus, 37604 Rosalita Ave, Zephyrhills; Tacos Dona Cristi, 36108 State Road 52, Dade City; and Lillie Bells B6206 Us 19, New Port Richey.

Note: Most of the restaurants with violations corrected the violations and have passed subsequent inspections.
