An 18-year-old girl fighting cancer at Jacksonville’s Wolfson Children’s Hospital won’t have to sit out her high school prom courtesy of a very large surprise that walked into her room Wednesday
Jacksonville Jaguars’ Sen’Derrick Marks paid Khameyea Jennings a visit in her hospital room with dancing on his mind. With a bouquet of roses in hand, the defensive tackle asked the young lady to go with him to her high school’s prom this weekend. He also made sure the young lady knew in advance her mother had granted permission.

From her hospital bed, Jennings seemed in disbelief at first, not answering the 6-foot-2-inch, nearly 300-pound man right away. But, after a brief pause, Jennings readily accepted the towering NFL player’s invitation.
It seems Marks, 28, will don a white-and-gold tux and has been asked to wear his hair down instead of going with the pony tail he normally sports.

Marks has been on the Jaguars active rosters since 2013 when the second round draft pick moved from the Tennessee Titans to north Florida.
The Jaguars Tweeted about the “promposal” after Jennings accepted the invite.
