The Miami Film Festival returns March 5-14, 2021 in a hybrid format. Now in its 38th year, the Miami Film Festival will offer both in-theater and on-line experiences.
Miami Film Festival is a world-class platform for International and Ibero-American films. The Festival showcases the work of the world’s best emerging and established filmmakers to the diverse cosmopolitan community of Miami.

The Festival has had the privilege of hosting a noted group of filmmakers and talent over its four decades, including Pedro Almodóvar, Patricia Clarkson, Abel Ferrara, Andy Garcia, Barry Jenkins, Spike Lee, Lulu Wang and many more.

This year, all competition films will need to play both in-theater and on-line to qualify but the festival will also have special presentation section where films will play exclusively either in-theater or on-line. Cash awards totaling more than $100,000 are given in competition categories.
