Several Carnival cruise ship passengers were airlifted to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport following a tour bus crash.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — Several passengers from the Carnival Ecstasy cruise ship were airlifted to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport aboard a military transport plane Monday after a tour bus carrying 32 Carnival passengers crashed in the Bahamas, the cruise line confirmed.
"Four guests with injuries were airlifted for hospital treatment, three of which went to Fort Lauderdale," said Carnival officials.
All of the passengers were on a five-day Bahamas cruise that left Jacksonville on June 22. Carnival said the shore excursion bus crashed near Rock Sound, Eleuthera, which is 20 minutes north of Princess Cays in the Bahamas.
