MIAMI BEACH, FL — Supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber, are the latest celebrity couple to plan a Miami area move, Page Six reported. The couple has purchased a multimillion-dollar home on North Bay Road, an exclusive waterfront community in Miami Beach.

Gerber’s ties to the Miami area go back decades. The founder of the nightlife company Gerber Group operated The Whiskey on Ocean Drive in the 1990s.

They’re not the only celebrity couples clamoring to live in South Florida in recent weeks. In December, residents of Indian Creek Island – often called the “Billionaire’s Bunker” – learned two new power couples would soon be their neighbors on the exclusive island. Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner scooped up a $30 million waterfront lot on the Miami island, while Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen purchased a lot with a teardown at 26 Indian Creek Island Road for $17 million.

Meanwhile, Joshua Kushner – yes, he’s following his older brother, Jared, to South Florida – and his supermodel wife, Karlie Kloss, will be neighbors of Crawford and Gerber. It was reported in December that the couple picked up a $23.5 million mansion on North Bay Road.

Actor Sylvester Stallone and his wife also purchased a $35 million Palm Beach estate in mid-December. And earlier in the month Stephen Marley, son of reggae legend Bob Marley, purchased two adjoining properties in Homestead, reports said.
