City Tech Professionals Team Up With Miami Dade College For Datathon

This weekend, tech professionals from the City of Miami’s Department of Innovation and Technology joined faculty and students from the Miami Dade College (MDC) Business Innovation & Technology Center for a day-long datathon competition to sharpen local students’ tech and data science skills. Tech leaders from the Miami business community were also on hand to address participants at the Saturday event, which was held at the BIT Center on MDC’s Wolfson Campus in Downtown Miami and comes as Miami’s ongoing tech movement gains strong momentum.
