FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — The former Fort Lauderdale home of musician David Cassidy was purchased by a Los Angeles-based real estate investor for $2.6 million, The Real Deal reported.

Cassidy, a 1970s teen idol thanks to his role on the “The Partridge Family,” died of liver failure in 2017.

The pop star purchased the home in 2001 with his then-wife, Susan Shifrin, for $1.1 million. Cassidy gave up the home — along with other assets — when he filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy during the couple’s divorce, reports said.
