Dwyane Wade played his final home game in Miami last night, Tuesday, April 9, before hanging up his jersey and retiring at the end of the season.

From scoring 30 points to crashing into John Legend and Chrissy Teigen mid-game, Wade's last game in Miami was a memorable one to say the least. Not to mention, Miami Heat beat the Philadelphia 76ers 122-99. Beyond countless tributes, including a pre-recorded video from former President Barack Obama, the all-star athlete also had all of this children and wife, Gabrielle Union, cheering on in the stands.

Not a bad way to go out.

"Hopefully, I created enough for this state, for the city, for the fans here, for the young kids here," Wade said. "Hopefully, I can continue to be an inspiration for them, (after) being an individual who wasn't given everything, who the odds were stacked against. Even when I made it to the NBA, still had odds stacked against me. But I continued to believe in myself. I continued to put my head down and worked."

Tributes started in the morning and lasted until tip-off at 7:50 p.m., reported AP.
