Here Are The ‘Hottest’ Neighborhoods In The U.S.: Report

CHICAGO, IL — Real estate rental site HotSpot Rentals recently published the 25 “hottest” neighborhoods in the country, naming usual suspects such as San Francisco’s Mission District and Brooklyn’s Bushwick as the most desirable districts in the country.

The list was compiled after the site did a study measuring each neighborhood based on six factors: walkability, transit, budget, entertainment, lifestyle and weather. Scores for each neighborhood were then calculated out of a 100.

“Put simply, we used data to determine street cred,” the Chicago-based company said on its website.

San Francisco nabbed two of the top three spots, with the Mission District coming in at No. 1 and Jackson Square at No. 3.

Bushwick, Brooklyn, came in at No. 2, and fellow Brooklyn neighborhood Sunset Park came it at No. 5.

The Wynwood neighborhood in Miami placed No. 15 on the list.
