Tropical Storm Zeta Expected To Bring Heavy Rainfall To Keys
The National Hurricane Center said Hurricane Epsilon is expected to bring high surf and rip currents to the Atlantic coast late Sunday.
MIAMI, FL — According to the National Hurricane Center's 11 a.m. Sunday update, through Wednesday, heavy rainfall is expected from Zeta across southern Florida and the Keys, portions of central and western Cuban, the Cayman Islands, Jamaica and the northeast Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico.
The rainfall may lead to flash flooding in urban areas.
Zeta could be at or just below hurricane strength when it approaches the northern Gulf Coast on Wednesday, and could bring storm surge, rainfall and wind impacts to areas from Louisiana to the Florida Panhandle. Residents in these areas should monitor the progress of Zeta.

Hurricane Epsilon is forecast to become a large and powerful post-tropical cyclone by late Sunday with high surf and rip currents possible along the Atlantic beaches through Monday.
At 11 a.m. Sunday, Epsilon was moving toward the east-northeast at 35 mph. A faster
east-northeastward to northeastward motion is expected later Sunday night through Monday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 75 mph with higher gusts. Little change in strength is expected Sunday.
There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect with Hurricane Epsilon.
Large swells generated by Epsilon will affect portions of the East Coast of the United States, Bermuda, the Bahamas, the Greater Antilles, the Leeward Islands and Atlantic Canada during the next couple of days. These swells are likely to cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions.
