Jennifer Lopez And Alex Rodriguez Reportedly Buy $40 Million Home

MIAMI BEACH, FL — Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez reportedly just purchased this $40 million waterfront estate on Miami's star studded Star Island where the power couple will be close to Miami's other power couple — Gloria and Emilio Estefan.

That of course depends on whether J-Lo and A-Rod plan to live in the new digs or whether they were simply making a quarantine purchase as an investment.

This year's Super Bowl halftime headliner and Rodriguez already have strong ties to the Miami area. Lopez celebrated her 50th birthday at the Estefan's Star Island mansion while the city of Miami Beach proclaimed July 24 to be Jennifer Lopez Day.

Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber gave Lopez a key to his star-favorite urban resort town. Rodriguez also played baseball with former Yankees teammate Derek Jeter, who is now the CEO and part owner of the Miami Marlins though it remains to be seen whether the two baseball greats will spend much time together.

Website TMZ said other residents of the exclusive Star Island are hoping J-Rod will drive up the already astronomical prices on their exclusive island just outside South Beach near PortMiami.

Built in 2003, the mansion features a 100 foot wood dock and breathtaking views of the Miami skyline.
