John Lennon's Former Palm Beach Estate For Sale

PALM BEACH, FL — If you can imagine yourself owning a piece of music history and your bank account has a lot of zeroes in it, you may want to consider buying the late John Lennon's former Palm Beach estate.
The oceanfront compound will set you back a whopping $47.5 million, but Lennon and his wife, Yoko Ono, reportedly only paid $725,000 when they bought El Salano in January 1980, less than a year before Lennon was killed by a gunman in New York, according to the Palm Beach Post.

The seven-bedroom mansion was renovated after Lennon's death by Ono. It features a tennis pavilion and an oceanfront dining room. Ono sold the estate in 1986 for $3.15 million, according to the Palm Beach post.
