Biden continues to hold a narrow lead in Florida, according to a poll released by NBC News/Marist on Thursday. According to the poll, 51 percent of Florida voters polled favor the former vice president, Politico reported. Meanwhile, 47 percent said they prefer Trump.
Both candidates were in Florida Thursday. Biden appeared at drive-in rallies at Broward College’s Coconut Creek campus and the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa. Meanwhile, Trump hosted a “Make America Great Again” event at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium.
Other members of their campaign have also visited Florida recently. Pres. Barack Obama stumped for Biden in Tuesday, while Pete Buttigieg led a “Pride at the Polls” event in St. Petersburg. Several of Trump’s children have made Florida stops in recent weeks, as well, including Ivanka Trump, who held events in Sarasota and Miami on Tuesday.
