Kaufman Lynn Construction Broke Ground on Oakland Park City Park

Kaufman Lynn Construction recently broke ground on Oakland Park’s City Park in the Greater Ft. Lauderdale-area of Florida, the first phase of a new comprehensive city park featuring sports fields, a community center and library. This exciting amenity will provide the community with a new splash pad, playgrounds, and basketball courts; and renovated pickleball courts and concession stand. City Park is the first of several redevelopment initiatives funded through a $40 million bond program aimed at improving the parks and public safety facilities throughout Oakland Park. Construction on Phase I is expected to be completed in summer 2022.
